farmers wife 0 #1 Posted March 26, 2012 hello everyone, my husband (farmer) told me that some of the members were talking about keeping chickens. We have a few, so I thought I would join in, and help if I can. I'm not an expert mind you, but I do enjoy them. Katie.

wheeledhorseman 574 #5 Posted March 26, 2012 :text-welcomewave: To Red Square Mrs Farmer. Sometime, but not just yet, we're thinking about getting some chickens and maybe even a couple of sheep. Looks as though you and Rex can now offer a one stop shop for advice and information on RS. Don't forget to get him to show you how to use this little emoticon he uses it quite a lot! I'm nothing like as good as using it - in fact this is the first time ever - but from what I gather from his examples you use it a bit like this. Hey Rex, going to meet up with us at Stourpaine (GDSF) this year or are you going to make some excuse about getting the crops in again? Andy
AMC RULES 37,134 #6 Posted March 26, 2012 You'd never know it was your first day Andy. You're wielding that emoticon like a pro.

farmers wife 0 #16 Posted March 28, 2012 Thankyou all so much for the lovely welcomes, I'm certainly no expert but it should be fun to hear what others get up to! farmer has said he'll tell me about anything Animal related, I'm not really that interested in the tractors, my car has to stay out in the rain. mmm I cut the lawns when Rex is busy so I drive the mower one. We buy our chickens as day-olds or point of lay, so the chicken definitely came first.
