Rooster 191 #17 Posted June 22, 2012 DId you mask the Brake band? I was painting parts for my 856 last night and did not paint the brake band, wondered if the paint would hurt the lining material?
COMMANDO6 20 #18 Posted June 22, 2012 Rooster, yeah, I don't think the lining should be painted. Did you mask it, Jake?

Jake Kuhn 1,554 #25 Posted June 23, 2012 Thanks guys for the nice compliments. Kelly,I am pretty sure it will not be done in time for your show. The hood is going to take a while and the motor still needs to be rebuilt as well and I don't know when my dad's buddy will have a chance to get to it for me. Hoping I might be able to have it done in time for mentone but I am not sure if it will be done in time. Jake
