Achto 28,164 #1683 Posted September 30, 2019 With special thanks to a very short term loan from "J&C Financing" I was able to purchase this little beauty a couple of weeks ago. I finally had a chance to drag it the rest of the home this Sunday. Let's see if you guys can look through the rain drops and figure out what it is. 2

WHX?? 49,874 #1692 Posted September 30, 2019 (edited) Might be too fast for you Super... I best just come get it so no one gets hurt. They ain't gonna guess Dan they're too fixated on late models...that's cool....leaves more roundhoods for us! Maybe this will help them out! It was the snag of all snags .... I was off playing with myself and Dan comes up and asks how much ya got on ya. I says a couple of Frankies in my stash. ..what's up? Tractor for sale he says... let's go look. Here I passed this gem when the missus and I were out for a lesurly sulky ride and I saw it but no for sale sign on it but I was too stupid to stop and ask! I didn't even look to see what it was. Anyhoo we go look at and immediately know what it is . I ask the guy what he's wants for it and he says two bills. I says SOLD! Older resto but very complete, had to run a dollar bill thru the points when got it back to camp but no biggis... we all got seat time! Some light triage was all it took to get it running like a champ. No smoke & it seems to run through all the gears quite well. Has the wrong seat and wrong drive belt guard on it but I happen to have a square pan seat & the correct belt guard in stock to cure these issues. 8 minutes ago, WHX24 said: Hey Richie... he's gonna need another cup.... think he's got that one ' bout wore out! No worries yet. This one is just starting to get seasoned well, kinda taking on that chard oak barrel flavor. 1

Not as fast as a Cub Cadet hydro but still moves pretty quick. I think the owners manual lists it as about 8mph. Seems even a little faster than that to me. The 418-C was a one year only model—1987. It’s followup model was the 520HC. They had multiple little and some bigger differences than their none commercial “brethren”. You will note that the dash panel on the C has less “idiot” lights thus a simpler wiring harness. The seat is of a different design, the front axle has heavier spindles, it doesn’t have the extra chrome. A hard core worker is the best way to describe the C model. (me plowing on my son’s 418-C) Dressed in its leaf removal clothes! Great versatile little tractor that is definitely hard working... 5

I just looked on tractordata and it show the only attachments for the 418C is a 60” mower deck. Do you know this to be true or false? i didn’t think anything could run a 60” deck without a swept axle. Brian

Thanks @953 nut I figured all other attachments would work. But a 60” deck, that didn’t seem right. thanks again Brian
