PeacemakerJack 10,743 #1187 Posted December 16, 2017 (edited) This is Caleb responding—You were really close Ed. The sheet metal is in good shape it still needs a little polishing up from me.There are still some things to fix on it then it will be ready to go.Dad says it’s got faster gearing because it’s a C model and so I named it “JackRabbit”. The older gentleman selling it owned it for years. His health would not allow him to use it any more. And so now it’s my horse to care for at the ranch. 953 nut 56,694 #1190 Posted December 16, 2017 I picked up a 418C a few months back and must say it is strong and fast. A couple of places on our driveway are quite steep and the 18 HP Kohler never slowed a bit. Caleb is one lucky boy! 1

Much like most of you guys here, I want to do a “Once Over” on all the important stuff: change fluids, fresh fuel, figure out why the fender pan feels like a rocking chair, adjust the linkage, straighten out the wiring, and paint the face of the blade with graphite paint—to name a few. Then it will be time to earn its keep and for Caleb, the fun will begin! 11 minutes ago, Adams94 said: Hauled it home from an auction today! Great find! You can weld in some new supports as I will be doing on mine or buy the brace from a 520 which was better built. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Toro-Wheel-Horse-520H-Garden-Tractor-Fender-Pan-Support-Plate/122616530701?hash=item1c8c83c70d:g:~SQAAOSwOgdYti3e 3
