Well a couple more deals I couldn't say no to. One was a freebie though it's a B-112 with a bad trans. I have one though. The other is a C-120 Special that needs a lot of work. That's about all I find around here though. Both came with decks. Enjoy the pictures! :banana-tux:

What makes the C-120 Special a "special"?

How is it different than a C-120 8-speed or C-120 Auto?

The C-120 is definitely a keeper. Sleeve hitch alone is worth the price of the tractor. Your sleeve hitch is bent slightly and is missing a cross piece that is welded near the pivot/attachment point. You can make this and it is a good strengthening piece for the hitch.

They used leftover Techumseh engines. As with many Wheel Horse "specials", they weren't all that special. They simply made good use of extra parts left over from other production runs.

That is a nice C-120 though. Lots of potential there...

Could somebody email me or post a picture of a good sleeve hitch so I can see what I need to do. It will be a while before I get to that one. I'm still working on last years finds. I have another C-120 from last fall I haven't got to yet. The grass just started growing and I've already sold 6 tractors this year. Way ahead of last year.

After looking on-line I found a picture of a sleeve hitch and it looks the same as what is on the C-120 Special, just a little straighter.
