Prater 75 #76 Posted September 6, 2012 Here is my poor mans trellis for the sugar snap peas. Just used some cane that grows on the property with some twine tied between them for the vines to follow.

312Hydro 474 #79 Posted September 17, 2012 Picked some peppers and a little Okra today That's quite a haul! I think I over-watered my peppers as I didn't get them that big.

Rooster 191 #81 Posted September 18, 2012 Next to Cayene, Serrano's are about my favorite pepper! Awesome flavor !
Prater 75 #82 Posted October 4, 2012 I went ahead and pulled the Seranos. They are not as long as the ones at the supermarket but there is a cold snap coming and I did not want to chance loosing them. I also picked more squash, okra, bell, and banana peppers.
Prater 75 #83 Posted October 13, 2012 My Ghost Chili Pepper plants have died from the frost, I had to go ahead and pick all the peppers while they were green. I hear they still have quite a kick to them before they are ripe...
Prater 75 #84 Posted November 8, 2012 Everything but the Sugar snaps are tilled under. Time to add some calcium and magnesium to the garden and start thinking of a cover crop for winter. I hope to get more compost or horse manure tilled in soon but my schedule will be pretty tight the next few months.
