The case on my 1974 B-100 has a crack or hole in it. It has JB weld or something like it on the inside. I figured this out when I went to change the fluid and no oil came out. I'm not sure but I have a 1973-74 C-160 that I was going to use for parts. The transmissions look the same with the exception of the hydraulic hoses going to the ram or lift. KB

Yes it will bolt right in, the B uses 1" axles the C will have 1 1/8" axles, you can add hyd. lift to the B by swaping all the parts, that is what I would do, or you can take it off, but you will have to remove the cone valves out of the C trans, if you go that route we can give you more details on how to remove the hyd lift.

Would the rims off my b-100 bolt up to the c-160 hubs. I was going to try to restore the B-100 so I'm not sure if i want the hydraulic lift or not. I also have a 36" deck and 37" snow thrower so I dont' think lifting those is a big deal.Would the sunstrand pump off the B-100 bolt up to the c-160 tranny? KB.
