tommy3horse 3 #1 Posted March 10, 2012 Hello Folks; Working to replace the brake drum seal on my Raider 12. Drum seems a bit stuck, got it soaking in PB Blaster now. Possibly a small puller or another good idea to remove it? Thanks, Tom

Possibly a small puller or another good idea to remove it? Thanks, Tom I'm thinking those are held on with a retaining ring (snap ring) some by a washer and bolt. I never had a problem with them. Since you are replacing the seal you might try a little heat too (just a little bit ) use a big screw driver in back, not much room in the back for a puller. stevasaurus 22,867 #3 Posted March 10, 2012 A 2 foot pry bar works pretty good also. Just use it from different angles.
tommy3horse 3 #4 Posted March 10, 2012 Thanks guys. I let the PB sit overnight, and was able to use two screwdrivers (one from each side) to gently pry it off. Replaced the seal and filled her up with 70-90wt. Now I have breaks, the pad was infused with oil and outta of adjustment. one down, 4 more to service....
