caseguy 2 #1 Posted March 8, 2012 I was just wondering, does anyone have a Commando 8 with the slot hitch that can take some pics and dimensions of the lift cable assembly? The part number is 3931. Thanks in advance -Steve

caseguy 2 #4 Posted March 9, 2012 Thank you Bob! That is awesome! It's exactly what I needed!
caseguy 2 #5 Posted March 10, 2012 I just wanted to share what it was I did with your measurements Bob. It's not exactly the same because I couldn't find the steel stop buttons (I found them, but didn't need 500 of them and that's the only way they're sold because they're regulated by the Government for the aviation industry ), but I believe that it will function like the OEM design.

caseguy 2 #9 Posted March 11, 2012 Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'm a bit of a purist, so I'm disappointed that I couldn't find the "right" hardware, but a hitch that works is a good start. So what little stops did you find??? Here's a link to the ones that I found: Single shank swage balls

caseguy 2 #11 Posted March 12, 2012 Haven't actually tried them out yet, It's going on my "niece's" (Best friends Daughter's) tractor. It will probably be a while before she drops a plow in the dirt with it, but her birthday is next week.

Trouty56 567 #13 Posted March 12, 2012 just curious how the ends work,or fasten to the cable,is there a crimper tool or is it a wedge fit? This was my real question before...lol
caseguy 2 #14 Posted March 13, 2012 Sorry for not answering the actual question LOL. The fittings in the link are supposed to be swaged, but I have a crimper that I used...looks like a medium sized set of bolt cutters with 4 different sized notches in the blade.
