Indy w h 5 #4 Posted March 7, 2012 Oh there not cast WH wheel weights ??!! If there in a black plastic shell they could be either sand or concrete
Forest Road 594 #5 Posted March 7, 2012 If they're black plastic weights there's nothing special about them. You could buy a new set of plastic weights and have Vinyl guy mak some decals. But whats your purpose for buying this? Parts, full rest, worker?
kpinnc 11,896 #6 Posted March 7, 2012 Ask the seller why the engine was removed. If it was bad, then the tractor may be worth the money. If not, then the Eaton pump may be the problem, and the engine was used elsewhere. The domestic 516-H and 518-H tractors used the lighter-duty 700 series pumps. They had about 1/3 of the output torque of the 1100 series pumps on the traditional "-H" model tractors had. Because of this, they were restricted against "ground engaging attachments". The problem with that was that most people used them with those attachments anyway, which greatly reduced the life span of the smaller hydrostatic pumps. The good news is that an 1100 series pump will bolt right in place of the 700, but you'll have to add hydraulic lift as well. The gearbox is the same regardless. Just something to keep in mind. The tractor may be worth the money in parts alone, but it all depends on what you plan to use it for. Good luck!
