Will you be spraying it with a gun or rattle cans?

I'm not a painter & my work shows, but when useing rattle cans I can burn through a 6 cans of primer & at least 12 cans of paint.

Some of the members here at RS have done some really nice paint jobs on there Horses.

It might help if you go into detail how you want to paint it & what kind of prep work are you doing before hand.

I use acrylic urethane, and I spray it with an HVLP gravity feed gun. I purchased 3/4 gallon of paint, and 1 quart of activator. That was enough to paint two compete B-100's, and I still have about a pint left.

When I painted my B-80 I bought a gallon of industial enamel, but thats the only way they sold industrial at my paint supplier. I used IH red. I also bought a pint of hardener to make it really shine and add durability, I also used a gravity feed gun, and still had about half a gallon left after painting both my tractor and mower deck.
