refracman 167 #2 Posted March 5, 2012 18 auto is a 1973, in 74 the name was changed to D180 as all the rest were changed from no name to the A/B/C/D series tractors. They was some changes in 74 and later units like the shift linkage (several), parking brake linkage, front spindle size and rear rim/tire size, there were also some changes in hydro setup and differential parts but loooked the same throughout production. You can get a lot of great ideas looking through the pics (also it's cool tractor porn). I like the idea of the hook on the FEL bucket. I think I'll add one. Couldn't resist looking at the 'tractor porn' and yes, great pics. Seeing the big WH logo on the sides of the '18' made me think that these are possibly the link to the tiny WH logo stickers I found on the hood of my later D-200 model.
