Big Jake 18 #1 Posted February 26, 2012 Pick this up for parts. No engine and the transaxle is junk.No ID tag so i took some pic. Thanks Jake
gapper 22 #2 Posted February 26, 2012 I would say that is a 702 from the looks of it. The decal on the dash is not the right one but because it looks like the dash can be removed from the tank with 4 screws i think it is a 702. I would ask to help identify is the tank one piece or a two piece. I am guessing a 702 also because there is a start button on the tower. I am restoring a 702 now and if you are thinking of selling this a could use the parts.

TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #4 Posted February 26, 2012 The serial number / shift pattern sticker was originally covering the starter button hole. That would make it a 502.
gapper 22 #5 Posted February 26, 2012 Jake, I would hate to see nice early parts chopped up but you are the lucky one to have it and that gives you all the right to do with as you want. I would like to see what you come up with. Terry is right, i did not catch that the sticker was there and now missing. so it would be a 502. 502/552/702 = 1962, Rick
Big Jake 18 #6 Posted February 26, 2012 that is the reason I wanted to identify it, so I did not to do something stupid like destroy it if is was something rare Jake
