CasualObserver 3,408 #3 Posted February 22, 2012 If it's a mid-engine Suburban, 49xxx is definitely a 1961. It's back in the 42xxx area it's unclear. That's around the 60-61 model year production changes. Is the serial number on a small metal tag on the hood stand or a decal on the frame, and is there a battery box like area built into the hood stand? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
