416-8 questions

Hello red square. I recently bought a 416-8 with the p216g. First off I noticed the engine oil light flash when I picked up tractor, I know it didn't do it months ago when I worked on it for PO. I checked the oil and it was to the fill mark, took it home did routine tune up, oil, filters, air. On start up to check level after oil filter fill up. Dang light still flashing... I only ran it for less than a min. I'm sure oil pump is working, wondering if oil sensor is bad? Also the linkage for the throttle sorta fell apart. Looking for a picture of setup to determine what's missing. I'm posting this from my iPhone, I have some pics but don't see a prompt to add pics, because pics are important. Tractor serial number is 73420. Model 5900710. I know this the right place to get the answers I need. Thanks all! Foozerush.

HELLO, I HAVE THE SAME TRACTOR SERIAL 5900340. YOU SHOULD BR ABLE TO TEST THE SWITCH BY GROUNDING THE WIRE. IT WILL MAKE THE CIRCUIT BOARD THINK THE ENGINE HAS OIL PRESSURE. THE SWITCH OPERATES ON 4-7 PSI TO COMPLETE CIRCUIT TO GROUND. THAT IS HOW I WOULD TEST IT. IT IS THE SAME AS A AUTOMOBILE TEST. GOOD LUCK
