Quick question when I'm using my c-160 auto should it always be at high rpm when I'm driving it or is it ok to be at half throttle? Thanks

for me, most of mine spend all there time between half and full throttle. just keep in mind that since the kohlers only rely on splash lubrication, its important to keep the oil splashing as much as possible. more rpm(up to full throttle) = more lubrication. so to answer your ? more rpm is better in my opinion.

Thanks the only reason i am asking is cause i had a 244-h that stated you have to run it at full throttle ore else you could experience hydro issues.

Hydros are designed to cool correctly and make full pressure and power above a specified rpm. The WH engineers designed the drive system to (conservatively) meet the pump manufacturer's recommended input shaft speed with the engine at wide open throttle.

I never work any of mine below 3/4 throttle, but 99% of the time they're against the governor. :handgestures-thumbup:
