nylyon-(Admin) 7,487 #1 Posted December 30, 2006 I need to replace the front tires on my 416 before spring. They currently have DICO Turf Trac R/S tires on there. Do they still make DICO tires, or will I need to go with Carlisle tires?
Sparky-(Admin) 22,124 #2 Posted December 30, 2006 I think theses style of tires were made by one company who put different tire names on the sidewall. I have a pair if Turf Trac R/S tires on my B-100 with TITAN as the brand name. Mike
nylyon-(Admin) 7,487 #3 Posted December 30, 2006 Thanks, I have found Carlisle Turf Trac R/S and they look the same. I was in the Tractor Supply store in New Milford, CT and they had some tires, but no R/S. The tread is fine on the tire, but the side wall is bubbled pretty bad and its not going to make another year. Happy New Year,
nylyon-(Admin) 7,487 #4 Posted February 23, 2007 Turns out that Dico was taken over by Titan who was bought by Carlisle. I called my dealer and they told me that the R/S was discontinued. So I wrote to Carlisle, and it turns out that the R/S is not discontinued but certain sizes are. My fronts are 16x6.50-8 while the rears are 23x9.50-12. The fronts are still made, which is good because that's what I need, but my rears are no longer manufactured. They didn't tell me when they stopped, but I will check to see if I can find them somewhere.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,487 #5 Posted September 11, 2012 Was never able to find the rears, and of course now I may need them. I am losing air and the rears are looking a little tired (no pun intended). Did some searching and these are no where to be found. I can go with 23x8.50-12's which are a little narrower, but the 416 looks so cool with the wider tires. Sparky-(Admin) 22,124 #6 Posted September 11, 2012 Don't go narrow Karl! You will probably have to go with a different tread design. Why not a pair of these?? I think they were about $85 each for the 10.5's. Should be a tad cheaper for 9.50's. Mike............

Kelly 1,030 #8 Posted September 11, 2012 I have a near new set of the tires above in 23x10.5x12 and I'm not that far from you, send me a PM I'll sell them
nylyon-(Admin) 7,487 #9 Posted September 11, 2012 Mike, if I put a set of those on, it would be best to put a 3" lift kit on the tractor to finish the look! Very sharp looking tread, do they have sizes or the front (I'm kind of anal about the 416).
Chevydave 25 #10 Posted September 11, 2012 I bought a set of Carlisle 23-10.5 x 12 turf savers and a set of the wider rims for a 520 HC. I had interference with the wheels on my 42" side discharge deck. I had to take them off and put 9.5's on my standard wheels. They look really good I think I might load them and use for blowing and tilling. Still thinking about selling them and buying a set of ags.

Sparky-(Admin) 22,124 #12 Posted September 11, 2012 Mike, do they have sizes or the front (I'm kind of anal about the 416). Did some snooping and it looks like they dont offer it in a 16x6.50x8 size or anywhere near it. I went here.. http://www.carlisletirestore.com/store/trftrc.html and it seems like the Turf-Trac RSis available in 23x20.5x12. Mike.............
