All I can say, I've drove an 8N with a step up transmission still powered by the flat 4 engine.

With tractor brakes...there is now way in #ell I go that fast on an old tractor.

When I worked at a golf course we had a Worthington and a Jake to pull gang mowers. They both would do over 40. Steering was shot on both. Talk about being busy behind the wheel! :auto-ambulance:
