redidbull 54 #1 Posted February 7, 2012 Hi I took the head off my Kohler 12hp to fix the stripped spark plug hole. I have looked for the torque pattern and setting for the head bolts but I can't seem to find it. Would someone please point me in the correct direction. Thanks. gregg'shorses 77 #2 Posted February 7, 2012 Torque is 25-30 ft lbs in a criss-cross pattern. I like to torque in thirds, 8lbs - 18lbs then final. You can down a free service manual fro www.kohlerengines.com page 18 or 19 has the info you need. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
