kruzr 1 #6 Posted February 5, 2012 Dennist, Yes I just purchased it today. Came with rear discharge deck, plow, and single stage blower and has the Kohler motor. So far I have intalled the plow and it works pretty good. Tomorrow I will put on the chains and wheel weights (which also came with the tractor) and see how much of an improvement that makes. I am hoping the 416-8 is a good machine.

Wheel-N-It 2,969 #8 Posted February 5, 2012 Welcome from North Carolina. Your 416 with the kohler engine should be a fine tractor if it has recieved proper maintenance. Should last you a long time. How many hours on your machine?

kruzr 1 #11 Posted February 5, 2012 Welcome from North Carolina. Your 416 with the kohler engine should be a fine tractor if it has recieved proper maintenance. Should last you a long time. How many hours on your machine? If the hour meter is acurate it has 867 hours. Seems to run very well, no smoke, no noises, Everything works well on the tractor. It is weathered and shows it's age but that will give me something to do (cleaning it up). I will probably run it through the winter and if all goes well start restoration in the spring. At this point I am more concerned about the mechanics being solid. Where in NH are you located? Fremont NH which is about 20 miles east of Manchester.
