D Drain Plug

Recommended Posts

Prater

The drain plug hex socket was stripped on the D transaxle. I used an easy out to remove it but need a replacement plug, is it a standard thread or something special that I need? The threads in the transaxle are not damaged.

Thanks

Hello, gogo... : :text-welcomewave: :to :rs: Some one back had apost on this will see if can find it, be back. Ok go back to main page, in upper right section type in drain plug stripped, make sure it shows forums in dark area, pick search. All PM's with that topic or wording come up, unless you already found that out, good huntin' Edited by groundhog47

It probably is the same size and thread...plugs are available at ACE Hardware, Tractor Supply Co....just make sure it is a NPT (pipe thread). Welcome to Red Square.
