fourwheels0 191 #1 Posted January 20, 2012 well the new one (a 1975 model) with the blower is just about ready for next year (don't think we'll get enough snow this year to use it lol) just a few small things to tidy up on it. need to paint the correct hood and install and still need to find a good seat. after all is said and done i'll have about $400 in to it including gas to go pick it up in upstate ny. here's a couple pics of my 2 c-160's. 1975 with 42in single stage blower. 1976 with 48in 5-way plow. fourwheels0 191 #5 Posted January 20, 2012 thanks guys. i love the 16hp kohlers (any one lunger kohler for that matter) and 8 speeds. i've had a couple hydro's and i just don't trust them. way too much money to repair if they decide to puke out. plus with the 8 speeds you can push them around if they don't start when you get them lol. CTPATRIOT you like it huh?. i'll trade you my 160 with plow for your 520h and 2 stage blower lol.

whc160 74 #8 Posted January 21, 2012 Great minds think alike. Good looking horses you got there. I have to agree with you I love the 16 hp & the 8-speeds. I have never had a hydro. Some guys say they are nice with a blower. I run mine in low range 1st or 2nd gear depending on the amount of snow with no problem.
fourwheels0 191 #9 Posted February 5, 2012 in case anyone is interested i have the 1975 c-160 listed in the classifieds. does not come with the blower.
oldnugly 2 #10 Posted February 5, 2012 I agree about preferring the 8 speeds to the hydros. I have a C-100 and a C-160, both 8 speeds. I also have a C-120 Auto I want to re-home so I can get a C-120 8 speed.
