My winter workshop. (pic heavy)

My primary shop is too big to heat, 52.5'x90', this is a modified 15'x17' tool shed I'm using instead.

I didn't like looking at the dull, drab OSB walls, so I painted it with a few logos I think you'll like!

Those look great Pat! I like how you took many of the different years and represented them well. Hope to make it down sometime and see them in person!

Pat-

Nice! How did you do them? I assume using a pattern? Maybe someone will be able to make an enlarged stencil and sell them??

Steve, Some were done with templates that I made and others were done by just tracing the blown up logo's with an exacto knife. Making the templates became very time consuming. It took, on avarage, 2 hours to make the templates/stencils. Here's one of the stencils I made.

After making 5 of these, I just decided to hang my blown up images on the wall and just trace it with an exacto. Then it's just paint by numbers.

Steven, not a bad idea! But do I really want green on my walls? What if I go back to green?

Those paintings on your walls look very nice!

I have an overhead projector that would probably work to make an outline of something "Wheel Horse" in my garage....then the wife could paint it....she is much better with the "fine motor skills" than I.

Very Very Cool!! I would think the projector idea would work fine and then trace it with a pounce wheel or pencil before painting.

No time involved cutting templates and no material except paint. Now if I just had a projector. :angry-banghead:

Let me know if you need any logos. I will email them to you no problem.

On eBay, look up "ARTOGRAPH", it's a small projector to project an image from any paper on to a wall, any size (a larger image needs a dark room to be seen for tracing), system works very well, many models, from about $10 up. Hobby Lobby & art stores also have them for about $25.

Glen

This is like what the 'old Masters' did 600-700 years ago in reverse, they had a large portable dark box they went into and traced the image(s) that was lit by sunlight, the image went thru a small hole with a glass lens, and gave an exact- perfect perspective of a person or scene that was then traced, like a camera without film. Film came out in 1838.
