whfan74 2,066 #1 Posted January 6, 2012 Mods....sorry for misplacing this but I thought it should be seen in a high traffic area Was cruising the net today during my lunch break and found this article that was published by a local South Bend News Station. Thought the rest of you would be interested in reading a little bit more about this fine man and a little about his life. There is also an opportunity to send memorials in his name listed at the end of the article. http://www.wsbt.com/news/wsbt-cecil-pond-developer-of-riding-lawnmower-dies-20120105,0,2116647.story?page=1 I am thankful for the vision that he had. This has truly turned in to a magnificent hobby that is being shared by 3 generations of my family.

AMC RULES 37,132 #8 Posted January 6, 2012 That was very nicely written, thanks for sharing Scott. Hard to imagine my love for mowing the lawn stems from someone elses dislike for the very same task. Thanks Mr. Pond for making it happen. :bow-blue:
