AMC RULES 37,125 #6 Posted December 31, 2011 God Speed Cecil. I noticed there is no Wikipedia page for either Elmer or Cecil Pond, but Elmer is mentioned here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_Horse Maybe we could update the page if anyone has any further info to contribute? VinsRJ 721 #20 Posted December 31, 2011 This loss is much larger than just the creator of Pond/Wheel Horse Tractors. This is a loss of one of the last great Americans who started with an idea and built a successful business through hard work and determination. The inventions that he created will continue to be relevant into the future because of their shire design and because they were designed with a purpose of satisfying a need outside of himself. With that I say, “Thank You Mr. Pondâ€Â.
