KSCPO 0 #1 Posted December 12, 2011 We have a storage unit facility and our renter quit paying so we have some Wheel horses left behind. Wanted to know where I could find a model number to figure what we might have. I believe there are 2 rolling chasis, 1 more with motor and then pallet of parts. Any information would be great and thanks in advance.

Rooster 191 #4 Posted December 12, 2011 OK Guys Correct me...I am testing my Skills here, lol The foreground has a straight front axle, Skinny rear and the seat stand makes me think RJ...and the "Wheel Horse" on the hood says Later model, So Somewhere close to an RJ-58? The Tractor in the background, Round Hood and forward engine says its a 7XX something... How'd I do? LOL
71_Bronco 1,072 #5 Posted December 12, 2011 Rooster, I too say RJ-58 or 59 on the one in the foreground. I dont know enough about the other Horses to name the one in the back. One giveaway for me is the shifter stick, I do not believe the RJ-35's had a stick there. Also the "wheel horse" on the hood as you pointed out also says RJ-58 or 59. I do notice two different rear tires on the RJ, wonder what the story is.
Kelly 1,029 #6 Posted December 12, 2011 First one is a RJ, a 58 or 59, the one in back with out a better pic, is a 702, clues that tell me that , steering wheel is a 62, 63 style, but the gas tank, is the 61, 62 style one piece tank with removable dash plate, and has a Kohler with starter/ gen. if everything is orig. and looks to be it is a 702. multihobbyguy 35 #10 Posted January 9, 2012 I thought I would update this thread. My father ended up purchasing the tractors from the KSCPO. They are all really rough. Here are some crappy cell phone pictures. There was one that I didn't get a picture of but I did snap a picture of the engine. We did a little work to the RJ over the holiday break. Here are the pictures of the RJ. The steering was frozen and all the wheels on the RJ were rotted from having fluid. Here is the donor engine. Frozen valve so I had to pull the headed to get it moving again. Someone beefed up the rear end sometime in it's life with gussets. Mounted the engine and found the correct size pulleys. Unfortunately it was dark outside when my father took it for a ride I didn't get any pictures of the first ride.
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #11 Posted January 9, 2012 The engine tag in the first picture is a K-161 for a 702 - which is in photos 3&4 and previously identified. The tractor with the giant steering wheel is a 603. It's hood appears to be the one in the second picture.
