Martin 2,132 #86 Posted May 13, 2012 brian, nice work there.... thats one thing i would really like to be able to do. machine new parts. i am really missing even the makeshift machine shop my last employer back home had. love to have access to a decent lathe even. we have one at work in the maintenance shop, not wired up,and doesnt seem a priority to get working anytime soon. the management just doesnt seem to think its important enough. would love to have something small at home even..... guess i cant complain, with all the finishing/painting equipment i have access to.... looking forward to seeing more of your awesome work..... Seeking advice on the best place to post the 'Flooded Parts' sale -- don't want to do the wrong thing on this fine WH site. Been working on getting everything set up for the sale. We want it to be a "all or none" BTW and with the show coming up now would be the time to buy and get them organized. The highlites is several bins of WH Parts. A B-Series rototiller attachment and we found a box of embossed hubcaps. There is a WH Electric tractor charger but it is unknown if it works. buckrancher 2,679 #98 Posted May 25, 2012 I could'nt stall any longer I've been looking for a crankshaft for this clinton 1200 2184 motor and not having any luck So I took the old crankshaft to my local engine shop and had them remove minimum material from the rod journal some where around .0035 to true it up then I removed .015 from each side of the rod and cap then bolted and torqued the rod and rebored the hole to the correct size for the new ground crank shaft new valves lapped in and bored the cylinder .010 oversize crank back in and piston & rings new crank bearings points and condenser and coil and primed painted with valspar IH red Brian 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
