kpinnc 11,899 #3 Posted June 26, 2008 Jason, You can make one for cheaper than that. $85-100 is a bit steep, and of course, by the time you ship one of these, you've probably got another $50 in the whole thing... The one I made is much simpler, meaning I have mine drilled to accept a "clevis" adapter instead of being welded on, and my crossbar is flipped backwards from the way he has his. Other than that, they are about the same. They are very easy to make. If you have some mild steel 1/4 inch flat bar, a vice, a torch (for bending), and a welder, you can throw one of these together in about an hour.
