Sparky-(Admin) 21,405 #2 Posted November 26, 2011 Your tractor has an Eaton hydro. If its a manual lift machine you have the Eaton 700 and if you have hydraulic lift its an Eaton 1100. Mike.........

Forest Road 594 #4 Posted November 26, 2011 There's an adjustment under your seat. Its a cam plate with a nut on top. There's a friction washer as well. Most of the time you can just tighten the nut a little bit to keep the cam plate from slipping. If the friction washer is to worn you'll need a new one. Not a big deal or a major expense. TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #6 Posted November 26, 2011 I had this saved from a while back (1100 Eaton shown, but 700 similar): Do not over-tighten (service manual states 6 lbs pull) and do not lubricate.

nylyon-(Admin) 7,302 #8 Posted November 26, 2011 You normally just need to give the friction washer nut a slight turn to snug it up. A suggestion, on my 416, the cam area became clogged with debris, take that cam apart, clean it up real good, put it back together and adjust. It's an easy job to do and since doing it with mine, it's like a new tractor.
