i just picked up a wheel horse drag harrow.

model#7 1611 9

ser.# 1037673

how can i find out what year it is?.

these came with but i have no clue what they are for.

1 of them has a tag that reads

#7 1722 9

serial #982839

Those are a two piece cultivator, you're just missing the tines, clamps and lift link.

Unfortunately you're not going to be able to find the years exactly on those, but the harrow is roughly in the 1965-1973 range and the cultivator is a little newer than the harrow.

Do you belong to http://www.mywheelhorse.com ? Both of those manuals are available there. 7-1711 Cultivator and 7-1611 Harrow.

thanks. i kinda thought that's what they might be but wasn't sure.

ones for the rear and ones a mid mount right?.

they were all bought together and i think they were going to use the tines from the harrow on the cultivators.

the guy i got it from said his grandmother bought it all new and never used these.

the tines still have paint on the bottom.

i got these with a 1973 8 and snow plow i have in the tractors thread.

cleaned it up a bit.

what would the value of this be?.

Last one I saw at a swap meet from a collector/trader was priced at $75. Condition was similar to yours... maybe just a little nicer. Looks like you have just a little bit of rust in that last picture.

I may be interested in the drag spike harrow, perhaps some trading for it if

you are interested. But this conversation needs to be in the classified section.

I have a mid-mount cultivator with the cultivator shovels. It is from 1977 but

is differnent from your frame.
