DrabHorse 2 #1 Posted November 12, 2011 Hi, I need to fix up my harness connector. I was thinking about using something like the delphi weatherpack connectors, they are a sealed connection and would handle the heat and current if you use the proper connector for the wire size. Probably would use two of the 6 pin connectors. Has someone done something similar?

DrabHorse 2 #4 Posted November 22, 2011 I was looking at something like this... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Weather-Pack-6-Pin-Sealed-Wiring-Connector-Kit-NEW-/120367051030?pt=Race_Car_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item1c066f7116 They are used on automotive and other stuff, I think this would last longer and be more reliable than the original connector. Cable 179 #6 Posted March 5, 2012 I like to replace the two high current pins with gold plated ones. That pretty much eliminates corrosion problems that cause the pins to burn up. On the tractor frame these are the wires going to the 30 amp fuse and start replay, red, white or yellow for the first and red or white for the later, depending on the model. I will sell you a kit of each connector shell and 9 pins, two of each set will be gold plated for $18.50 plus shipping. It really isn't necessary to replace pins that are not burnt. Just remove them from the old shell and reinstall in the new shell.
