sunstrand hydro noise

I have a 1973 gt14 the hydro wines and moans alot it is full of atf and has a new filter is that normal?? it does not seem to slip or lack power at all just noisey.

Without hearing it myself I wouldn't know for sure, but all of my hydros make a fuss too. I don't think they are noisy when warmed up and the tractor isn't moving, but they do whine a bit under a load.
