Gentlemen I am looking for these three parts the threaded nipple, the elbow, and the muffler. Any sources for new you know of? I have spent over an hour on the internet and also my dealer doesn't know what I need much less if he can get it. I think the management has changed generations there... Thanks again all for your expertise

On My WH I used a generic Tractor Supply muffler and some pipe fittings from home depot. I think it was 1.5 pipe. Jim

What year is your C-120?

The K301 on the 1977 model uses 1" standard black pipe. A 1" x 2" nipple screws into the engine, then the muffler, 106918 just clamps to it.

On earlier models, the pipe is again 1", and the fittings are standard black plumbing pipe available anywhere pipe is sold.

EDIT: The 106918 muffler is available from Mowpart.com now for $153.20 less 10% with coupon.

redidbull, C-Series14, & Bob thank you for the replies.

Bob mine is a 1974. I want to buy the 106918 off mowpart.com plus the nipple and clamp. Is the right one for my '74? Thanks - john

Here's what I can tell you. The engine on your 1974 should be a K301S-47421d. The engine on the 1977 is the same. The frame and hood are the same for both. So I don't see any reason why the 1977 muffler and nipple won't work on yours.

If anyone else has reason to believe that it won't work, :thumbs2: please speak up before John buys his muffler.

Is this muffler compatible with the K241? (C-100)

I got the eBay one not long after I posted, and looks like I'll be assembling the tractor within the month. It's a Toro part (toro paperwork came with it) and looks like it will fit. Threaded nipple, clamp, and exhaust. Not exactly as depicted as the Service Manual but I think it must be what they started selling after awhile (vs. the 3 piece I mean). Thanks everyone!
