HorseFixer 2,012 #1 Posted June 19, 2008 I Will be posting show pictures here each evening for your enjoyment! I will just keep adding more as we take them! So keep checking back! Today I met Eldon at the fairgrounds! Eldon spotted me when I pulled in And he said DUKE!!! I said how did you know it was me??? He said I spotted your Horse Hauler and knew it was you! After that Eldon I and Mrs. Horsefixer set up the RED SQUARE tent. I then had Mrs. Horsefixer fix Eldon some emergency grub.... Aka a boloney sandmitch and chips and a cold drink. TT called while we were there and will be pulling in this eve, I will get many more pics tonight and I will post them ! Duke Eldon Is Piching Horse Shoes! Friday Night Pics sorry so late! It was a pain in my AZZ last night getting these pics uploaded for all to view. The wife unplugged my laptop and it ran the battery down till it shut off, well that caused some kinda error and my pukers been giving me fits since! It took me 3 hrs between the site being slow photo bucket being slow or my internet wirelesss connection being slow I dunno but I finally got them uploaded had to do them 1 at a time and re-edit the post ! Whew!!! Stayed up till 1:30 so I could geter Done.... Well Its friday morn 6:20 a.m. time to get some breakfast and head over to the fairgrounds! Will get some more good pics today. Okay let me say that this is my first show and I cannot tell you how much Mr. and Mrs. Hosefixer enjoyed ourselfs today! we had a wondefull time, and we are allready planning our trip for next year! Its helpful when your spouse supports you, and I am a truely blessed man to have a wondefull wife in MaryJane! I am also lucky to have all these new found friends that we have met from all over! We have all had alot of laughs, and a truely good time here! I guess thats why I feel like sharing my experiance with all of you and staying up late so all of you can share this experiance. My honey and I have taken close to 400 pictures thus far and she has video taped close to an hr of the parade, and about 3 to 5 minutes with a conversation with me and Cecil Pond. This was truely a treat meeting Cecil and Mike. My wifes Aunt knew cecils father well and lived several blocks from Elmer! Her name is MaryJane also and my wife is her namesake. Anyway all these pics and videos will be available and shared with all of you once I get home and have time to organize a video DVD. This stuff is priceless and will become a part of history. We had alot of laughs and you made Me and MJ's trip a fantastic time! You are all a bunch of great guys, and I find pleasure in sharing and promoting this hobby in anyway I can! I am a passionate person in all that I do! Thanks for showing me the ropes in our first event. A big thanks goes out to Wild to Bill Pearson in putting in a Plug for our "RED SQUARE" group and anouncing us durring the parade!! Like me Bill is very passonate too about this hobby and it shows in all that he does! For all of you that couldn't attend we all missed you, and thanks for all your support at home and the thanks for the pictures I hope you have enjoyed! Your the reason I worked hard in posting them! Duke presents "Dale" Thirdrock with a bottle of AMSOIL Fully Synthetic 4 Stroke lubricant after this presentation Dale agrees that this is the best lubrication on the third rock from the sun! Well we are packed up and ready to leave! but before we left, My Sweetie MaryJane as usual made a fine contribution by winning 3 prizes for the Duke and let me choose the prises. 1) A wheel Horse Sign 2) A Lawn & Garden Collector T Shirt & Cap And 3) Some Wheel Horse Patches! I will hang the sign in my stable when I complete it this summer!! Took a picture of my Jeep and the Horse hauler and said goodbye to our friend Eldon out in the parking lot before we left!
