T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,565 #3 Posted September 22, 2011 Congratulations on obtaining one of the most sought after garden tractors ever made. The 140H3 almost revolutionize the industry, with it's triple hydraulics, turning brakes, it's capabilities, etc. It may not have been the first in a lot of areas, but it combine versatility with the garden tractor size. Go to www.weekendfreedommachines.com for more info. You can register there and even register your 140 by clicking on the "Register" tab on the top. You can find more info on the 140 by clicking on the "Model Info" tab. Also see wfmfiles.com for other information and GT Talk, especially their manual section, for even more info. fireman 1,022 #5 Posted September 22, 2011 Was that the one in Northwest, CT? The 140 H3 is an awesome tractor. I have non-hydraulic plow blade for it if your close to CT.
hm12460 53 #6 Posted September 22, 2011 Very good tractor, can you throw up a few pictures? 1969 was the first year for the 14 hp kohler in this tractor. The 1968 models had a K-301.

6wheeler 668 #8 Posted December 4, 2011 0k, I have to ask this question. How did you choose your screen name? Are you connected somehow to Brockway trucks? I had a 75 Brockway. A combination of Dodge and White and Western Star and Autocar and Hendrickson I always said. I still believe they bacame Marmon though. It just always seemed they mixed a hodgepodge of parts and made a Brockway. Just askin. P.s. The guys here are right. The one tractor I would love to have is an H3. My nieghbor has a completely restored one and I plowed with him this fall with my 520. It was fun. There were 4 of us, Keith's H3, his brothers H1, his dads 416h and my 520h. Two WH's and two JD's. It was awesome. Pat
TT-(Moderator) 1,147 #9 Posted December 4, 2011 This is for you, Pat: A Brockway was a Brockway until the last one was built in June of 1977. (Even though Mack "owned" the company from 1956 until 1977) I have no input on the JD. :ychain:
6wheeler 668 #10 Posted December 5, 2011 Thanks Terry, I knew Mack owned them. It was a funny truck though, A friend of mine had a 76 Western Star and the cabs looked exactly the same inside and out and the hoods looked like the the Diamond Reo hoods. Except of course, Mine had the ultimate prize on it.... The Husky on the hood.. Eat your hearts out Bulldog lovers.. LOL Pat
