Crokay 0 #1 Posted September 11, 2011 Hello, in the past 2 weeks I have stepped into 3 WH tractors, one is a RJ 5_ and the other 2 are B 80's. One looks brand new with bad engine (the previous owner now knows about using oil) and 4 speed. The other, from another owner (same as the RJ) has a good engine and an 8 speed. How hard is it to swap out trannies and on top of that, should I go through the trouble? Any input would be appreciated.
mavfreak 11 #2 Posted September 11, 2011 first off The tans will swap out with no problems and without much effort. you have the two tractors so just use everything from the 8 speed. Good luck One more thing :banghead:
Crokay 0 #3 Posted September 11, 2011 well, the RJ is going to be given to a retired friend, who I am sure all of you will appreciate, loves WH and will rebuild it and make it right. After I swap out the tranny's I will be Selling him the other B 80 so he can rebuild that one too.
