Finished my 312-8

Recommended Posts

Deuce

I purchased this tractor in Bardstown KY way back in 1989. Move to Florida in 1990 and have used it very little so it has very few hours on the tractor but it needed some new paint and parts. Fun to restore. This tractor is like brand new. I'm going to work on the mower deck next. By the way the paint is powder coat!. I changed the pulley on the trans and it does go 'some what' faster and the wheelies are a blast. Hard on the old back. I'm 63 and still I like to play around. Have 2 Harleys that I also get to man handle in my spare time.

:woohoo: Dont't know the color. I asked my powder coater to match the color the best he could. I do know he had to order it. He also put a clear on top of the red. Should last a long time.

BEAUTIFUL! :thumbs2: Got any action shots?

I know Tom (tarcoleo) has talked about those implement seats, and how comfortable they can be, does yours help your back at all? You know, when you're NOT poppin' wheelies! :banghead:

What's the contraption on top of the engine?

23's on the back and the cherry bomb muffler is actually quieter than the orginal. Does have a deep tone. All powder coated, new decals. The seat looks nice but I do have a orginal seat for it that is getting recovered. Looks or comfort.

I really would like to fine a blade for it. I need to move some sand around.

Nice job. Love the wheelie bar. I don't think the horses were designed with the need for the bar though... :thumbs2:

And the answer is ... ? :thumbs2:

And where did you find the muffler? I vaguely remember hearing cherry bombs way back when, I'd love to hear one on a Wheel Horse (yes, that would be a hint :banghead: )!

Hi B-100

Been in the shop trying to

take care of some promises. Had not been on the forum for a while and saw

this awesome 312. Maybe he could post a video of some wheel stands.

Need one of those horns on my Valkyrie.
