C160 Trans. Lever

Recommended Posts

Ford850

My C160 trans lever only moves forward alittle, causing the tractor to go real slow.It goes faster in reverse than forward. The tractor was working fine and then I could'nt move the lever. The oil level is good and the lift works. What should I check first. Thanks in advance

TT

:woohoo:

Check the "return to neutral" cam plate where the rod from the brake pedal is attached.

(make sure the brake pedal is completely "up" too)

If no issues are found with the pedal/linkage/cam plate, check the plastic cam located at the top front of the hydro pump. (remove the "console" plate for access)

Look on the left side of your hoodstand... this MAY be the problem. If it is broken, CONTACT ME. I have the replacement parts to correct this.

I am:

copy / paste that to send me an OFF-SITE email.... outside of this forum.
