puddlejumper 67 #15 Posted July 10, 2011 Terry, Its been a long time and I forget the road/path number. but there is a north south road that runs from about cripple creek colorado north along the top of the mountain range through estes park and further north, it is a awesome drive if you are looking for scenery. Its not a fast traveling rd by no means because it winds its way up down and around the mountains (and through them in a place or two) Its well worth the detour If you are in the area. And then theres royal gorge, garden of the gods, and so on .................Have a good trip.

Vinylguy 4,674 #18 Posted August 4, 2011 Well it has been an awesome trip and we are headed back home from Estes Park CO. We will be heading up through Wyoming and across South Dakota to see the bad lands and Mount Rushmore. Hope all the Sturgis people are gone by then. Drove a bolt right through the brand new Avon cobra rear tire in Denver. Lucky that we were a block away from a Huge Kawasaki Dealer and were able to get a new tire mounted on a Saturday afternoon. Thank you all for your support and well wishes.
