jritota 0 #1 Posted December 17, 2006 Hi everyone, Nice looking website!! I'm excited to see a new site where some more WH guys can yap about their red horses. I'm looking for a hydro transaxle complete w/Pump to install a hydro lift on my 1975 B-100 auto. I have everything I need except the tranny/pump w/correct valves. My original tranny works excellent with no problems. It get a filter and new oil every season. Season consists of a 3/4 acre of grass cutting and alittle tilling. I don't feel it's necessary to have hydro lift on this tractor, however I run the tiller on it and it's a bear to lift and adjust the height, so it would be nice to have this feature. Does anyone know were I can find a good unit? Thank you guys in advance Joe jritota@netzero.com
Sparky-(Admin) 21,352 #2 Posted December 17, 2006 Where are ya located? I have a complete tractor with the hydraulic lift setup(lift lever/hoses/lift cylinder) and everything you would need to do it. I'm in central Connecticut. Mike

Sparky-(Admin) 21,352 #4 Posted December 24, 2006 Hi Joe. Its a C-160 auto. The guy I bought it from said it worked fine but he only wanted the motor for a pulling tractor so he took it out and sold me the rest. So what I have is a complete tractor minus the engine and ignition. I bought it for the tires/rims, sheetmetal, and the steering components. It also had an original seat with armrests in rough shape but all there. I,m not sure how difficult it is to remove the parts you need so they could be shipped. They would definately be extremely heavy and costly to ship. If you wanted to drive up here you could take the whole thing minus the sheetmetal, rims/tires and steering parts. This way you would have ALL the hydro parts and the associated hardware and you would get a good look at how it all goes together. If you decided to drive up to Connecticut to get it it would cost you quite a bit in gas so I'll tell you what I'll do. I will remove the parts I want(rims/tires shetmetal seat steering stuff) and it yours FREE. If you want me to remove the tranny and all the lift stuff and ship it then we would have to work out a price for the parts plus shipping. Happy Holidays......Mike

jritota 0 #6 Posted April 8, 2007 :D Hi Sparky, Thank you for all of your help. I found a excellent Hydro trans from Joe's outdoor power on ebay (Great source for WH parts). It came out of a 1978 C-161 and everything works great! It took about 3 hrs total and it is really great to have all that lifting power for my tiller/dozer/deck.
