jchart06 0 #1 Posted June 8, 2011 I need some help! Ive worked on and owned gear driven wheel horses sinces I was 8, 20 years later I now have a hydro. Its a 73 12 automatic and I want to add a set of remotes on the back for a few attachments I have that would be alot easier to use if the had a lift cylinder on them. I have rebuilt the pump and the motor in the rearend, but my question is, where do I connect the lines for the valve?
daveoman1966 3,762 #2 Posted June 8, 2011 You cannot just hook up a couple hydraulic hoses and expect to have hyd lift. You must install some NLA parts into the end cap of the hyd pump. The 2 hyd hoses thread into the face of the end cap and the NLA parts ar to be installed in the LT and RT sides of the end cap. If you want to add the hyd lift package, I have all the parts to accommodate your needs, including the NLA parts. for further details and pics, send me an OFF-SITE EMAIL. That is, exit red square and send an email to: daveoman@windstream.net ps... I have that same 1973 (16hp auto) tractor with the hyd lift you want. It is exactly the same as the 12hp you have.
