C195 de-rustification

Recommended Posts

buckrancher

Back in october of last year (2010) I found this C195 :disgust: I really liked the one that dewayne has (bearpath) (I was drooling over his at the Steam-O-Rama in PA)

and seeing that it's the featured tractor at this years show I wanted to get her cleaned up and ready

sense :hide: there has been much todo about restore, rebuild ,repair, repaint lately on RS and with many different opinons.

I decided on a De-rustification process for my tractor :WRS:

as I bought her

I didn't take any pc's of the tear down so all the picture's will be after

the tractor was taken all apart and sand blasted before painting

I sent two boxs of parts out to the platers.( over 160 piece's) One was for bright clear zinc and the other was for zinc yellow chromate

And not only that, in his spare time he built a stainless steel deck for the RJ.

Hmm...I've always suspected that people can be in two places at one time. This proves it. :hide:

WOW :hide: Brian,

Where did you find a C-195 with a 3 Point AND the elusive rear PTO? That's an incredible job you are doing. I only wish I could get my motivation back to start on another one of mine.
