Curmudgeon 28 #1 Posted November 5, 2007 Being a guy who's made a lot of trips down the dragstrip on a motorcycle, I couldn't help but like this image! Hope the rest of you do as well! Dale, going zoom.....
nylyon-(Admin) 7,299 #2 Posted November 6, 2007 I wonder if there's engines on the other side too. It's pretty slick, but I wouldn't want to start it up :D
Sparky-(Admin) 21,398 #3 Posted November 6, 2007 So what kinda motors are those? Looks like a whole bunch of small ones, but I'm sure I got that wrong. Mike.....
Curmudgeon 28 #4 Posted November 6, 2007 Well if there wasn't more engines on the other side, it would be a handful to balance! If you look close, you can catch a glimpse of some red right behind the front tire, the lower front engine on the opposite side. That would make TWENTY-FOUR of them!!!! I kinda got the impression they are Honda's. No reason why, just did. Now remember fellas, all I have is the picture, same as you, but I'm sure willing to make guesses. The one thing I see for sure here, another idea for Eldon to expand on!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Dale
CasualObserver 3,408 #5 Posted November 6, 2007 :( I just noticed... they're all pull starts!! :(
kj4kicks 152 #6 Posted November 6, 2007 Nice Pic ! Dale, I think I'll pass on the multi-engine project, especially if they're Hondas (yuk!). Maybe a row of K-341 16HP Kohlers, though... Nah, maybe an aluminum block Buick V-6 or V-8 on an altered wheelbase WH. Gonna need another custom hood.... Now where's that pulling rule book ?? Eldon. Curmudgeon 28 #7 Posted November 6, 2007 I just noticed... they're all pull starts!! I noticed that right off! And wondered what type of clutch/coupling mechanism was used to allow each to start individually. Or maybe they all start at once, and the ropes are just for show now.
