Clarkbug 0 #1 Posted June 7, 2011 Hi All. Im a little confused, so I wanted to ask you guys. I have a 05-36MR04 mower deck (36", rear discharge) that has the round spindles. The blades are stamped with 107437 and 107438, and if I look it up on the toro web page, it says I need blade set 107983. But what is the difference between 107982 and 107983? What I am looking at is the Glens Surplus site, and they carry what look to be the Oregon blades (based on part #) I dont know what the difference between the 91-808/91-809 and the 91-813/91-814 set is. Can anyone help?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,246 #2 Posted June 8, 2011 Looks like the 808 and 809 have 1/4" outer holes 1-5/8" apart. The 813 and 814 have just the 3/4" center hole. Other than that they are likely the same. In some cases Toro calls the 78300 mower deck a low-cut mower. Garry
Clarkbug 0 #3 Posted June 8, 2011 Thanks Garry. I dont need the 1/4" outer holes for anything, so I guess that means I would be safe with either set of blades. I just wasnt sure if there was anything else different about the blades. Thanks very much for your help!
