I realized after I built the stainless tractor it needed some sort of attachment

too finish her off so I decided on a RMR 32 deck to build

here's some of the pic's I've taken so far

getting ready for final welding of ss angle iron and deck ingagement petal block

it's hard to see in the pic's but all rotating joints on the deck hangers have bronze bushings installed

more picture's to come

No wonder my grass is growing so fast! The sun is bouncin off that deck and is intensifying it's rays on my yard. Let me know if you going to bring that to the steam pageant so I can remember the shades and sunblock!!! :hide::WRS::):disgust::hide::beer::):thanks: :offtopic:

Brian, You don't by chance have a good spare RM-324 cross shaft do you? I think that's where my deck noise is coming from. The shaft moves a little back and forth in the bearing where it's pressed on. Mike

I think a snow plow and garden plow should come next. Then the snowblower and a front mount sickle bar!! :hide: :WRS:

thanks everyone for the kind comments :hide:

The question was asked what do I do in my spare time

well lets see

1st thing I did this last fall was finish the restore on my 414-8 I found a NOS

Haban sickle bar mower for a C series that would fit on it

my superviser at work just had to have it so he made me an offer I couldn't

refuse

some of you may have seen picture's of it on MTF

100_4656.jpg

100_4890.jpg

next I found a very badly rusted and busted C165 with a ark 510 loader

the trans was broke the front spindles were junk and the back half of the loader

lower frame was rusted almost in two

I replaced the back half of the lower fame changed out the front end and replaced the transmision and got her running and moving under her own power

still have more to do but thats another day

100_4884.jpg

the real project I've been working this year is my C195 which I will be

posting in it's own thread

100_4531.jpg

I think I'm going to sit on my butt and watch tv next year :WRS:
