massey 118 #126 Posted December 31, 2011 Thanks Fireman. Wallfish, if were to build another (which I don't foresee) I would explore using hydraulics like a zero turn has so the engine would just turn a hydraulic pump and you would have motors driving the tracks, then you could theoretically add cylinders for lift and angle, maybe add a small ripper for the back, yeah...that would be cool. amcrules00, I haven't tried that yet, I was just having too much fun putting around. sorekiwi, Thanks, and yeah I agree Terry's decals are the stuff. Thanks meadowfield and Steve B., glad you like it. DoctorHfuhruhhurr, I would have to respectfully decline that offer. Thanks for the compliment. Ed

HorseFixer 2,012 #128 Posted December 31, 2011 Hypothetically; If someone offered you $4000 cash for it, would you sell? Inquiring minds want to know. Very fine craftsmanship by the way. Dang Dr. Furrburger thats like askin The Smithsonian Institute to sell the Mona lisa for $ 4K. Actually If it were possible I would give Mona for that Dozer Any day! WoW..... It's Tight! ~Duke

It's Tight! ~Duke The Mona Lisa originally sold to Francis I of France for 4000 écus (french currency at the time). Maybe in 500 years the Mini Dozer will be worth over $100 million too.

Coadster32 793 #142 Posted February 1, 2012 What an awesome machine!!! Like John said, thanks for letting us see it come together from the ground up. (BTW-the Mona Lisa was originally purchased for the use of bathroom wall art.)
massey 118 #143 Posted February 2, 2012 Glad you guys enjoyed it. I was wanting to push some snow with it but it doesn't seem that is going to happen, so this spring I'll probably be moving some dirt.
Ken B 3,164 #144 Posted February 2, 2012 You did an incredible job, that bad boy is awesome! Your craftsmanship is something to be proud of. Now I can see you building a backhoe and loader tractor like Wallfish did, and him building one of these. That would be to cool to have a Track Horse and a Hoe Horse wouldn't it? Hey, its easy spending someone else's money!

bowtiebutler956 650 #146 Posted March 2, 2012 This is the third time I've read through this build, and I have the same reaction every time. This has got to be the baddest wheel horse I have ever seen. Incredible work Massey! Any updates?
massey 118 #147 Posted March 2, 2012 Thanks for the kind words. We haven't had snow this year so it mostly just sits. I do have about an 800' gravel driveway and it seems to work well in redistributing the gravel. And I do make the occasional mail run with it just to get some seat time. No mud pics for Gary and Craig yet though. :teasing-poke:
