A while back a member posted a picture of his John Deere 400 parked nose to nose with his 520, can anyone find that thread :thumbs::D :wh:

I think this what you are talking about. Sounds like it was a 420 but the pics are gone. That was the last post by the member too. I remember that post and it was pretty nice looking for a green one.

I have to add this.

I knew WH were on the small side in the garden tractors but never realized it to the point of when I went to a plow day with a all cub cadet club. There smallest tractor plowing was a 100 I believe and size wise it made my C161 look so small. And yes I got some jokes and poking going on but that ended at the end of the day when I plowed with them and made it though the mud hole that was swallowing up the cubs. Now seeing your 520 next to a 420 JD shows it to me again!

Heath,

Almost any garden tractor would look small to a JD 420, except maybe a D-series Wheel Horse or a Cub Cadet Super Garden Tractor, or another JD 400 series.

I will have to try to download the picture of my c next to my stepdads 318 JD even a size differance there. but yes the 420 is big I must agree there!
