racinfool40 202 #2 Posted April 29, 2011 The 5073 tranny should be a 10 pinion limited slip with 1 1/8 axles the 5091 should be a 8 pinion with 1/8 axles The 5073 brake drum should be close to the axle and the brake drum on the 5091 should be close to the front of the axle.. :thumbs: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Actually, the 5060 and the 5071 (1967/68/69) are the only two (that I can think of) that would have the brake drum mounted to the pinion shaft.
