Could be a Ford or a Minneapolis Moline they were the same basic tractor, but a ford was blue, a MM was yellow, the jacobson was orange, and there are other things to tell them apart but I don't know the details, now if it is a MM they bring big money, I parted a Jacobson just like that one, and it had a 7hp kohler

Eriks Red horse herd

Kelly's right about it being built by Jacobsen! He's Also hit the nail on the head Jacobsen also built for Ford ( color blue), Minneapolis-Moline ( color brown ,early & yellow later),Allis-Chalmers (color orange, later on was built by Simplicity), Farm Hand (color redish orange built for Daffin Corp in Minnesota), Western Auto stores (color redish orange) and of course Jacobsen it self ( color redish orange) and probably a few other off Brands that Jacobsen made. All had the same body style just a few differences like decals and body parts( grill, seat ect.)

Belt Guard looks like a swather weed board for the head of a farm sickle mower ( newer aftermarket)

have fun with your new tractor!!
