jdpuller 2 #1 Posted April 18, 2011 I picked up a couple of 8 speeds this winter and finaly got around to opening them up this weekend. I was bummed to find they were both 10 pinion diff's. The rest of the trans looked good just need some seals and clean up. My question is will the 10 pinion hold up in the 950 lb stock class with a 16hp engine or should I find a 8 pinion diff? I plan to put on some sticky 26x12x12 tires and play with the pulleys. Thanks for the help guys. :D

baerpath 517 #3 Posted April 18, 2011 We wiped out two 10 pinions in a weekend. If your on 26's save some aggrivation and get a 8 pinion rear. I keep spares on hand, everything can be broken if you try hard enough. And we really try hard Duane
